Five years after the initial release of the suites Water Music and Music for the Royal Fireworks by Handel, in the innovative version by Le Concert Spirituel, we are now releasing the original master in surround sound in a new digipack edition. Listening to an orchestra on period instruments—featuring over a hundred performers—tuned according to historically informed principles, and benefiting from all the energy and sonic detail enabled by the SACD format, is an experience that no fan of the finest Baroque repertoire should miss.
