The history of the Spiritual Concert is made of faithfulness and everyone has contributed to build what it is today.
Institutionals and partners
The Spiritual Concert is supported by the State and approved in Ile de France as well as by the City of Paris. Depending on the project, it receives assistance from the Île-de-France Regional Council, ADAMI, SPEDIDAM, the National Music Center and the Institut Français.
The Spiritual Concert collaborates very regularly with the Center for Baroque Music of Versailles and the Palazzetto Bru Zane - Center for French Romantic Music.
Endowment fund
Created in 2014, the Spiritual Concert Endowment Fund, under the presidency of Jean-Jacques Aillagon, allows companies and individuals to support Le Concert Spirituel in its commitment, sustainability and development. The donations collected ensure the influence of the Ensemble in France and around the world, in the service of French musical heritage. An essential support tool for the rediscovery of new masterpieces, the Endowment Fund offers its sponsors a real immersion in the heart of the artistic project, around Hervé Niquet, for example by attending rehearsals or by participating in original evenings, faithful to the inventiveness of the chef.

The history of the Spiritual Concert is made up of loyalties. Patrons are essential to Concert Spirituel to support its development and to give life to daring projects. Since the creation of the ensemble in 1987, Nicole and Jean Bru believed in Hervé Niquet. The Bru Foundation has supported the whole for many years. It is a magnificent story built around mutual esteem and the rediscovery of forgotten masterpieces of French Baroque music.
The Spiritual Concert is 2020 laureate of the Liliane Bettencourt Prize for choral singing and as such received support from the Bettencourt Schueller Foundation until 2023. The ensemble received support from Société Générale Musical Patronage from 2014 to the summer of 2021.
The productions of lyrical tragedies, co-produced with the Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles, and given at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées from 2023 to 2025, are the subject of the generous support of one of our great sponsors.
