Having at heart to transmit their passion for baroque music to as many people as possible, Le Concert Spirituel with its conductor, Hervé Niquet, and its instrumentalists and singers offer throughout the year cultural activities for all audiences: from beginners to music lovers through school audiences, remote and musicians in training.
Through playful and pedagogical tours, awareness and artistic practice workshops, Le Concert Spirituel exploits every possibility and approach to baroque music in order to offer personalized and authentic interventions.
The ensemble is strongly committed to promoting access to music for all, and to strengthening social ties and living together through actions aimed at so-called " disadvantaged " audiences.
Thanks to partnerships with cultural, educational and social structures, Le Concert Spirituel aims to develop its cultural actions in all territories: Parisian, Ile-de-France and regional.
The various programs conducted by Le Concert Spirituel :

A know-how offered to its partner institutions
Actions with schoolchildren and meetings with the public.
With its partners (halls and festivals), Le Concert Spirituel is involved in operations to raise the awareness of new audiences, especially the youngest.
It opens its rehearsals to schoolchildren and meets the students, offering the opportunity for a privileged moment of exchange with the conductor and the musicians.
He regularly sets up meetings/conferences between artists and the most varied audiences around accessible programs.
"Une Flûte pour Platée" at the Hôpital Necker - Enfants malades (AP-HP)
Le Concert Spirituel and Château de Versailles Spectacles have joined forces to offer musical interventions to children hospitalized at the Hôpital Necker - Enfants malades (AP-HP). Motivated by a common desire to bring a little comfort, through music, to hospitalized children, we have conducted workshops throughout the 2019/2020 season on two works: Mozart's The Magic Flute and Rameau's Platée. In 2021, the interventions will focus on the opera Don Quichotte chez la Duchesse by Boismortier.
For its first season, this project was supported by ADOR (Friends of the Royal Opera of Versailles), Karetis and the Fondation Notre Dame.
For school children
For several years now, Le Concert Spirituel has been offering schoolchildren, and especially high school students, the opportunity to immerse themselves in an opera of the baroque repertoire, going from spectators to actors over the course of a season.
Over 10 to 20 sessions in the school or on rehearsal sites, Le Concert Spirituel, accompanied by the teaching teams, builds with its musicians, personalized projects ranging from discovery workshops to the practice of singing to create with the students a scenic, choral or video object.
The activities set up by the ensemble :
• discovery workshop
• musical analysis
• meeting with the artists (soloists, directors, conductor, choir)
• vocal/choral practice with one of the ensemble's singers
• writing and directing workshops
• Collaborative restitution (different formats: theatre, choir, video, etc.) in front of students and families.
Around works from our repertoire: Don Quichotte chez la Duchesse by Boismortier, Les Amants Magnifiques by Molière and Lully, King Arthur by Purcell, or our creations Les Aventures du Baron de Münchhausen, students from Lorraine (Collège Himmelsberg in Sarregumeines), Paris (Collège Aimé Césaire in the 18th arrondissement and Paul Bert in the 14th arrondissement) and the Paris region have carried out many creative projects with our artists.
