For a participatory concert on Christmas Eve, Hervé Niquet did not want listeners who would simply admire this "enormous monument" that is The Messiah, Handel's most famous oratorio, composed in 1741. By replacing some of the original's tunes and choirs with choirs in French, he embarked the audience "in this powerful vessel" celebrating the Coming of Christ.

Before coming to the workshops, familiarize yourself with the pieces that will be sung by consulting the preparation file.
