After 10 years on tour, King Arthur had to get to college.
King Arthur, a work within everyone's reach:
- an original and humorous production by Shirley and Dino
- a work at the crossroads of artistic disciplines: dance, song, comedy, farce, literature...
- young and family audience
- classic codes transformed: an actor / conductor, the secrets of backstage, the public's participation in the show....
- multiple references (Kaamelott, Sacré Graal! from Monthy Python, etc.).
The workshops are composed of:
- presentation of the work and analysis of the musical scenes
- sessions with musicians and singers
- to a rehearsal and exchanges with the stage directors and conductor
- vocal practice sessions
- writing sessions for the final project
- restitution in the form of a film.
2018/2019 in Paris 14th
For five months, a mediation and learning process around the voice was carried out. Starting from the tradition of the English mask, the students of the Collège Paul Bert (75014) are led to do a work of rehabilitation of this famous work just as Le Concert Spirituel was able to do.
By alternating spoken theatre scenes that deal with concrete, prosaic subjects with musical scenes dedicated to a wonderful and fantastic universe, they create a scenario thanks to the knowledge acquired during the various workshops. A film of a few minutes will be the final result of this encounter between Le Concert Spirituel and these schoolchildren.
