Since its creation, Don Quixote visits the Duchess has proven to be a tool of openness and discovery for the youngest.

Don Quixote visits the Duchess and her assets:
- An original and humorous staging by Shirley and Dino
- A work at the crossroads of artistic disciplines: dance, singing, comedy, joke, literature...
- Breaking the codes of classical music: an actor's conductor, the secrets behind the scenes revealed, the participation of the audience in the show...

The workshops:
- A theoretical aspect (explain, tell, illustrate): becoming familia with music, an ineractive discovery of the singing, the voices and the tessitures, learn about the history of Don Quixote and understand what is an opera, a conductor, an orchestra, listen, memorize tunes...

- A practical aspect, to go further: the voice at the centre of the work, singing in a playful way, creating words, practicing other comedy and dance disciplines in a sensitive approach, creating a show from the original work, etc.

2015, Lorraine
The opportunity of the Concert Spirituel's residency at the Opera-Theatre de Metz Metropole and Arsenal, and the creation of the baroque opera Don Quixote visits the Duchess staged by the couple Shirley and Dino led the teachers to initiate an original project around this cultural event in 2015.
An entire class of the Himmelsberg College in Sarregumeines devoted an entire school year to this project by developing a strong awareness of baroque music and opera, by facilitating encounters with performing artists and by engaging in the creation of an original vocal production in association with the Conservatoire in Sarreguemines.

2016, in Paris
Le Concert Spirituel and the Collège Aimé Césaire (75018) decided to join their efforts and collaborated on the project "Don Quixote in Halle Pajol" set up with a 5th grade class over the 2015/2016 school year.
With the help of singers and musicians, Pauline Jolly, production assistant, guided the students in the creation of their end-of-year show through sessions of writing, speaking, directing, comedy, etc.
