    Une Flûte pour Platée

A participative musical project of the Opéra royal de Versailles and Le Concert Spirituel with children hospitalized at Hôpital Necker - Enfants malades (AP-HP).

Le Concert Spirituel and Château de Versailles Spectacles are joining forces to offer musical interventions to children hospitalized at Necker Hospital.
Driven by a common desire to bring a little comfort, through music, to hospitalized children, Château de Versailles Spectacles and Le Concert Spirituel continue their long-standing relationship. During the 2019-2020 season, the ensemble Le Concert Spirituel was in residence at the Opéra royal de Versailles for three opera productions, including Mozart's Magic Flute (January 2020) and Jean-Philippe Rameau's Platée (June 2020 - cancelled). In 2021 the interventions will be around Don Quichotte chez la Duchesse by Boismortier

These works, where the imagination is omnipresent, serve as a basis for the interventions and workshops offered to children. To echo these sessions, Château de Versailles Spectacles offers children and their families the opportunity to discover the Opéra royal de Versailles by participating in rehearsals.

For 10 months, at the rate of one or two sessions per month, the artists visit the Hospital, the common areas or the children's bedside. Various recreational workshops will be organized, including simplified composition, instrumental practice, presentation of characters and themes of the works on which the sessions are based.
